Altamont Environmental, Inc. (Altamont), located in Asheville, North Carolina since 1996, is comprised of civil and environmental engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, and environmental specialists. Our staff includes 16 professionals, with engineering and geology registrations in several states. We provide a variety of environmental assessment, remediation, solid waste, restoration, civil and environmental engineering, regulatory compliance and GIS services to private and public clients.
Altamont provides service to clients throughout the southeastern United States.
The diversity of our expertise allows us to efficiently meet each client’s needs - from high level consulting to routine monitoring and reporting. We pride ourselves in our ability to listen to our clients’ concerns and follow through with thoughtful, in-depth strategies and actions. This philosophy has proven successful as 80-percent of our work is commissioned by previous clients. Our extensive technical ability, attention to detail, and long-standing relationships with the state and federal regulatory community assures a comprehensive and professional work product. In addition, we have established partnering agreements with a number of other consulting firms and contractors to broaden our technical capabilities.
