Altamont president Stuart Ryman, P.G., has been elected to the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC) Board of Trustees.

“I am very honored to be asked to serve as a Trustee with SAHC,” Stu says. “It is a great organization that has done so much for our community. I look forward to doing my part to contribute to SAHC’s ongoing success.”

Founded in 1974, SAHC is a nonprofit, charitable land trust that works to conserve the mountains of North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The trust has helped protect more than 68,000 acres of land from the Highlands of Roan to the edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
