Altamont’s Paul Dow Achieves Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Certification

Paul Dow, PE, recently achieved certification as a SWANA Certified Landfill Technical Associate as a Manager of Landfill Operations (MOLO).  Professionals who have earned their SWANA Landfill Certification have demonstrated superior knowledge and understanding in their field.  The Solid Waste Association of North America has been the leading professional association in the solid waste field for over 40 years.  SWANA Certification is recognized by numerous states as the standard for solid waste personnel, with many states accepting successful completion of this program in lieu of their own certification requirements.

For over five years, Mr. Dow has provided engineering consulting in solid waste management to a variety of county and industrial clients.  He has had significant involvement with landfill closure, regulatory compliance, and environmental remediation issues.
