Altamont Geologists Attend Groundwater Remediation Conference

Altamont’s Stu Ryman and Alec Macbeth recently attended the 2010 Battelle Groundwater Remediation Conference in Monterey, California.  This is a biennial, world-class conference that brings groundwater professionals together from over 100 countries to present and discuss the latest development in groundwater remediation.  This year's conference was entitled “Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds”, and emphasized greener remediation technologies and consideration of the environmental footprint of groundwater cleanups.  Battelle, a large environmental consulting and restoration technology company, serves clients in both government and industry, and sponsors conferences throughout the year to promote collaboration and education across various industries.
