Altamont’s Chris Gilbert Attends Brownfields 2009 Conference

The National Brownfields Conference is the largest, most comprehensive conference in the nation focused on environmental revitalization and economic redevelopment.  Following a successful partnership with the Land-of-Sky Regional Council on its first Brownfield assessment project in Madison County, North Carolina (see Altamont projects), Chris Gilbert of Altamont attended the conference in New Orleans on November 16 through 18, 2009. 

Present at the conference were over 200 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees.  The conference offered over 150 educational sessions, including lively panel discussions and dynamic roundtables, and best of all, conference registration was free!  The amount of information available was outstanding and Altamont plans to attend again next year.
