JAMES McELDUFF, PE

An environmental engineer for approximately 22 years, Mr. McElduff has been responsible for establishing clean-up alternatives at many sites across the country where chlorinated compounds and Dense Non-Aqueous Phase Liquids (DNAPLs) were the contaminants of concern. These include work at US EPA Superfund and state-lead sites. Focusing on North Carolina since 1991, he has managed design and construction of ground water treatment systems; planned and implemented large-scale ground water investigations; developed innovative strategies for the investigation of PCE and TCE in indoor air; assisted architects in planning remediation of PCE in indoor air; and supported legal counsel in complex property redevelopment and transfer issues.
