ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT & REMEDIATION

Altamont's staff of professional engineers, geologists, and environmental specialists have successfully completed Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments for numerous industrial and commercial sites of varying complexity. Our experience includes work on over 20 federal Superfund sites as well as assessment, remediation, closure of multiple state-led CERCLA and RCRA projects, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assessments.

Altamont has completed environmental assessment and remediation of all types of contaminated media. Environmental projects range from Phase I and II Site Investigations to contaminant fate and transport modeling, remedial system design, installation, operation, and maintenance. Altamont has successfully designed and implemented a variety of in-situ techniques, including enhanced in-situ bioremediation, to remediate contaminated soil and groundwater in a variety of geologic settings.

Altamont’s staff has completed multiple groundwater resource development projects. Often these projects include local and regional watershed analyses to assess the quality and quantity of groundwater and surface water resources.
