
CHAD HEARN, EI

Mr. Hearn is a civil/environmental engineer and has worked with Altamont since 2009. He has consulting experience with private and public sector clients. Prior to joining Altamont, Mr. Hearn worked with a civil engineering firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was responsible for civil engineering design, coordination, and construction administration for projects ranging in size and complexity throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, primarily in the healthcare sector.
Since joining Altamont, Mr. Hearn has been able to focus on his primary engineering interests, land and water resources. He has experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, stormwater BMP design, low impact development (LID), wastewater infrastructure design, erosion and sedimentation control analysis and design, and streambank damage assessment and repair design. He is also experienced with surface water and groundwater sampling and monitoring, environmental site assessments, technical report writing, and engineering plans and specifications. Mr. Hearn is actively working towards becoming a licensed professional engineer in the state of North Carolina.
