
Joel Lenk, PG
Mr. Lenk is a Licensed Professional Geologist in North Carolina with nine years of experience working as an environmental consultant. He has developed a broad range of experience working within several environmental disciplines, including hydrogeology, environmental site assessment and remediation, sedimentation and erosion control, landfill maintenance and beneficial reuse, environmental permitting, and ecological restoration. He has formal post-graduate training in the fields of fluvial geomorphology, stream restoration, low impact development, and wetland delineation. Mr. Lenk possesses a unique combination of technical field skills and project management ability. Joel has a strong understanding of local and regional geology and has served as a field team leader on many large-scale environmental drilling, aquifer characterization, and water resource projects. He has designed, obtained permits for, and overseen construction of numerous successful stream and wetland restoration projects throughout western North Carolina. Additionally, he has provided expert witness testimony related to impacts to ecological resources on projects throughout the southeast.
