
Bill Miller, P.E.
Mr. Miller joined Altamont in 2011 after 17 years of environmental engineering experience, particularly in the areas of landfill design, groundwater assessment and remediation, permitting, and fly ash issues. Previously, he spent four years as a Senior Engineer at S&ME, Inc. and 24 years as an Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation. During his career, Mr. Miller has managed numerous complex landfill and groundwater investigation and monitoring projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, including developing a groundwater monitoring program for ash basins at fossil stations, investigation of groundwater contamination at ash landfills, groundwater monitoring and site investigations at power producing facilities (fossil and nuclear). He has served as project manager/engineer in a variety of settings, including landfill siting, landfill permitting and design, support for various environmental permitting, design and compliance issues related to power producing facilities.
