Altamont was among a group of area businesses recognized by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce in a ceremony at The Millroom in downtown Asheville on April 16. Altamont received the 2015 Sky High Growth Award for outstanding growth in sales and employment, contributing to the economy in Asheville and Western North Carolina.
“We are pleased and honored to receive this award,” says Altamont co-owner and vice president Christopher Gilbert, P.E. “Altamont’s continued strong growth is a testament to the dedication of our outstanding employees in serving our clients, which include many private businesses as well as city, county, and state governments and agencies. It also is a statement of the growing need for the broad range of services Altamont provides to the regional economy, including environmental assessment and remediation, civil engineering, land planning, stream restoration, solid waste, wastewater, and compliance services.”
